DroneView Technologies: 2015 Year in Review

Barely a day goes by where "something drone" is not mentioned in the news - drones for delivery, drones as the #1 Christmas gift, drone registration

While the reporting has not always been favorable - drones landing on the White House lawn, delivering contraband to prisons, flying too close to airplanes - the market’s awareness of this new technology is at all time highs.

Over the course of 2015, DroneView Technologies has become one of the leading national drone services companies, working with enterprise customers throughout the United States - collecting, processing and extracting real value out of drone derived data.

We have focused with our clients on identifying commercial applications where the benefits of using drones to collect image/video data yields discernible value.

In virtually all of these use cases drones are Safer - Quicker - More Accurate - Less Expensive  (when compared with traditional data collection methods).

While there are many viable applications for drone technology, this framing has led us to focus on the following industries and applications.

  1. Stockpile Volumetric Measurement

  2. Survey - Mapping - Topography and 3D Modeling

  3. Inspection and Asset Monitoring: Wind Turbine, Cell Tower and other large vertical assets

  4. Real Estate and Construction

  5. Marketing: Aerial Photography, Videography and Panoramic Imagery

Measuring Stockpile Volumes, Inspecting Wind Turbines and Cell Towers

In most of these commercial applications, the adoption of drone technology over the next several years will be transformative – greatly reducing dangerous activities - climbing to perform inspections and/or eliminating in many cases the need for field survey engineers to go on site to do topographic surveys and stockpile measurements. Drones will materially change the way these daily activities are done while yielding real and sustainable benefits.

2016 promises to be a year of continued growth and expansion for DroneView Technologies and the industry. We will launch our new web site in January, which will better describe our narrowed focus. We expect to continue our national expansion, adding additional associates to our current Michigan, New York and Arizona locations with new office openings planned for Texas, Florida and California.

We truly appreciate your interest and continued support. Feel free to let us know if you have any questions and/or know of companies that would benefit from our drone services.

Wishing you and your loved ones a Happy and Healthy holiday season
